Special Gene Sales

On the 1st and 15th of every month a random set of 5 genes is selected for a special sale. You can add this gene to a horse of your choice. You will also receive a license for that gene allowing you to purchase and breed horses with that gene. You never know what gene will come up next or how long they will stick around.

You may modify the genetics of any horse you own that is a foundation, unbred, and gene tested. To make the horse homozygous for a gene, add strand one to the cart, then return to this page to add strand two. For a complete list of RGS alleles click here.

Dense Pheomelanin

Gene Example and Info: Causes extra production of red pigment. Can produce liver chestnut when combined with sooty. This gene has no sharing restrictions.

Satin

Gene Example and Info: The satin gene causes the core of the hair to be hollow resulting in a fiber optic sheen. Satin is recessive and requires two copies to show. This gene has no sharing restrictions.

Axiom Wrong Warp

Gene Example and Info: When heterozygous wrong warp will turn pure white areas black. Cyan blue tearing may result from some near-white shades. When homozygous, or combined with other axiom alleles wrong warp creates warped and twisted areas of the coat. Caution: This is an allele of the axiom gene and will overwrite other axiom alleles like red or nexus. This gene is closed. Gene Example and Info: Toner is a subtle allele that only shows on diluted pigment. Works best with duns, creams, onyx, pangare +, and other diluted shades. Can add a slight tint on darker horses.
