Hello Hunt and Jump friends! I'm so excited for the upcoming new Era, and especially thrilled to use the brand new herd helpers! I have GMTs burning a hole in my virtual pocket so I plan to modify 3 fantastic studs, and would LOVE for them to be popular with other breeders! So, what stud would you most like to use? What are your favorite genes? What body type are you interested in breeding to? Please give me all the feedback lol. I will make one brindle hh stud, but no idea what others I'll use.

Kit M is always popular I think. It's one of my faves at least. The genes I think I'm going to focus on for this coming Era are going to be roans with Sooty/Pangare plus, Belton with kit M or Tobiano. Maybe some GP thrown in.

Warmbloods for me.
Dark base colors with one or more of the following:
Dun, DFP1, DFP2
Roan, White 3, Sabino 2, KP
Sooty+
Silver
Tobiano with jewel box

For fantasy I am really into Tobianos with shatterglass and nacre right now.

I'm LOVING all this feedback, thank you! I don't think I'll have anything fantasy in Era 5, but I do love the Shatterglass Tobi. I do think that I must have one stud with DFP2 ;)

One thought if you want them to be as popular as possible is to stay away from any genes that require a license.

Something I don’t have but would enjoy is jewelbox for the tobiano crowd.
I love flashy dark horses. Sooty and sooty plus, with it with out silver. Sabino and Kit M, belton spotting everywhere lol. Mostly i will be continuing with my Sunflowers generations (S+, DP, TE1/2, KP1/2, DFP1/2, Sabino) and mixing in more genes like Kit M and Belton from my other lines. Playing around with mushroom and platinum a bit because I like the color effects!
I would like to get more P+ in my herd. I’m looking forward to seeing what my futurity babies will bring into the mix.
I have not decided yet who my next stud will be. Excited to see the new herd helpers roll out, see the first round of futurity winners, and start Era 5 with a better understanding!

I am a huge sucker for flaxen liver chestnuts with Kit M and Sooty +! I am also a fan of tobiano and tiger eye.

Sooty +, pearl, snowflake varnish, Kit Promoter, white M, Gulastra Plume, and DFP1 are all very popular open access genes. (Most of which I also look for...) If you made one on an eeaa base, that would work for nearly everyone except the brown breeders.

My level 3 wish list is for exactly this— an era 5 stallion for the futuries. I’m very excited about it. I’ve given only light guidance so I’m eager to see what I get.

I’m also excited about the new herd helpers. I’m not good at looking at the words and picturing what the horse will look like, so I’m intrigued to see how they turn out. I’m not planning to be heavily active in era 5 except for my stallion, but the new herd helpers may get me. Or I’ll just have to boost them down an era…

Khisanth I'm personally planning to stay non fantasy, and unlicensed (except for DFP2 probably). But I'd love to SEE your Era 5 fancies!

Summer they are packed with desirable genes; I'll have a hard time deciding what HH to use haha.

It’s almost overwhelming, I’ve only been on the game since Nov. I fell in love with all of the fantasy genes, and then getting on the leaderboards, then I looked at all the leaderboards that didn’t have many participants and started lines for those, and now Era 5 is here and wholly schnikes Batman.

Summer for me is crazy because I garden but dang this game is so fun! :-))

We're trying to garden this year. Last year was the first on our new property, with a new baby, and it was too much.

I gave up gardening. We moved to a new state last year with a much cooler climate. So our growing season is too short to grow much unless you have a greenhouse. I’m not dedicated enough for that!

When our house and yard is done (we’re under construction right now) I will try out a flower bed with some native plants to see how that goes. But that will be the extent of my gardening.
