Might be time for some more breeder clubs but I can only add them if there is enough horses with that gene.

What genes do not have an associated club but have 5k plus horses in the game with that gene?

I am looking for hard numbers, not guesses, please. If you all want me to do the work to make a club for it, you can do the work to make sure there are enough horses. :))

I did actually look them up first! Just wasn't sure if they count for clubs? Both have well over 10k!

Hom Platinum only have 604 in game currently :( and het plt has 2736 (I can only assume and hope these numbers will be growing, as it's a newer gene)

Rainbow Riot 2 - TNR has 2845, ISP 3,492, void 773

Het onyx has 7219 horses in game

Bay and brown could be split, as well as splash 1 and splash 2

Belton spotting has 5,448 horses
Lace maybe? I do not know how to search for lace as there isn’t an option in the search.

@LaurierArabians - Lace is under the fantasy tab in the phantom gene section, currently all phantom genes are in one club together :)

I also hope the Platinum numbers will grow enough to warrant a club! Although maybe having a registry other than “open fantasy” for them would encourage more folks to get into them? In a similar vein, het chocolate (b/-) only being eligible for open fantasy has kept me away from that.

With the Buckskin count over 35k, that would be interesting to separate out from Cream. I stay away from double dilutes for the most part but I love a good sooty buckskin.

What makes a horse’s color to be called white spotting? I thought it was having any W kit gene but then I saw this guy:

White spotting would be White 1, 2, 3, 8, 10 and Kit M.

These will all also have “white spotted” in their color name.

As mentioned above I would also like to see the following added, and feel they would be justified:
Belton spotting
Rainbow Riot 2
Shatterglass (I’m not opposed to shatterglass and jewel box being lumped together under Tobiano modifier, but it might be better to keep them separate since one is fantasy and the other is not.)

I do feel like a true Belton spotting, or shatterglass/jewel box club should require the Tobiano gene as well. Those numbers:
Belton + TO: 3399
Shatterglass + TO: 2831
Jewel Box + TO: 250

I am strongly in favor of Rainbow Riot 2 being either in its own club or being added to the Rainbow Riot 1 club, as well as having a club for Onyx.

I feel like belton shouldn't necessarily require tobiano, because that's not the only gene it interacts with, correct? Just the "best"?

I agree that a belton club should not exclude horses without tobiano, because they can still express the belton spotting.

Onyx slipped my mind because I don’t have it on this server, but I do think it deserves its own registry.

I think white spotting has become a very large category. If the goal is over 5k, five of the six white spotting genes are over that, two by a lot.

White 1 is at 8267
White 2 is at 16279
White 3 is at 5279
M is at 37764
White 8 is at 7788
White 10 is at 1075

I think M should split from the Whites. After that I get less confident.

White 1&2 could be a club, then the other whites could be a club. That would look like:

White 1/2 would be at 24,555
M would be at 37,764
The Rare Whites would be 14,142

Right now all these horses are in one club.

Tallest. It’s just a dream, though. I seem to remember the reason we can’t have a best overall is because it is so many horses for the game to process. If I’m correct, I suspect that same logic will apply to height, bone, etc. But I’m not super sure.

My first breed has Onyx and Toner and neither have clubs, and the horses are fantasy, so they're mostly unregistered. I've been hoping for an Onyx club for SO long! Toner isn't quite at 3k but it's close. Though a Rainbow Riot 2 club would work well also.

I agree with Summer that white spotting is very broad and more specific gene clubs would be nice.

And seconding others saying that Pangare Plus has plenty of horses to warrant a club, and would be nice to see.

But in general, more fantasy clubs would be great, as they're disqualified from so many other clubs, and I feel it may discourage people from making and breeding fantasy horses. Same with collectibles, especially now that the license restriction is lifted.

platinum has 111 pages of horses at 25 per page its almost up to 3k

@leefe3 For Platinum, it would have to be homozygous though. So unfortunately there are only around 371 intact homozygous horses for Platinum on this server

Colors in my opinion have enough horses to justify a new club
Sooty (72,203)
Wild bay (19,769)
Flaxen (44,902)
P+ (14,957)
Tiger Eye (45,833)
Belton
Liver chestnuts (36,534)
Existing breeders' clubs I feel could be further separated out due to large numbers
Brown (34,956) from the bay & brown club
Nexus (17258) from the Axiom club
The Ice club could be spilt into open (11,513) and closed (5,995) gene clubs
The cream club could be split into single (64,117) and double (10,504) gene carriers
The pearl club could also be split into true pearls (10,504) and false pearls (20,917) clubs

Other notes and ideas
There are easily enough splash 1 horses (22,216) to justify making that a specific club but there wouldn't be enough of the other variations of splash to form a non-splash 1 club
Sun/Sno horses combined (3,136) could make a club but for now it might be more convenient to keep them tossed into the pearl club
Maybe create a club for closed gene fantasy horses
I really like the idea of splitting up the white spotted club but I've don't got any ideas as to how to divide it

KIT M has 38410 horses, so quite a large sub group of white spotting. Giving them their own club may open it up for the less common white spotting genes?
