Closed/rare genes?
-
Hey ,
I was just wondering how to obtain licenses for some of these genes , Is it possible to buy a horse with the gene to obtain the license when you recieve ownership of the horse ? or is there another way without spending real money again?

Thankyouu -
You can pay another player with hbs to buy it for you. You can get the gene immediately put on a horse or you can get just the license and then buy horses that have the gene. The going exchange rate is around 100k hbs for every real life dollar.

@Tarma
Any tips on making hbs ? hahah -
Show ponies. You need at least 5 spayed or gelded show horses for every breeder. Keep the higher pointed creates and spay or geld them for the training boost. And if you are creating just for show ponies, make them younger. That way they'll have more time to gain more points and will earn more in the long run.Thanked by 1PandoraEventing

Be sure to post here for your free 50k! On the very first post on this thread I also have some money making tips and you can make quite a bit of money from doing the achievements from your home page!

Also if you like DFP2, you could also check out DFP1 which doesn't require a license. The markings aren't as dramatic but still very cool! :)Thanked by 1PandoraEventing -
I love my DFP1 boy. He's so pretty.

@LadyhawkeStables
I have managed to buy the basic upgrade as its going for cheap rn , Im not sure what my daily pay out is though so Im not sure if I still fall under than category :) The information on the first page has been very helpful though !

Great to hear! On your home page under "Performance Overview" the last line will say "You earn a XXX hb's daily bonus from showing."
It takes a while to get a daily bonus built up so if you just started, you will very likely qualify!Thanked by 1PandoraEventing -

The KP and KP2 genes are unlicensed, so spending real money isn’t required. All you’ll have to do is search for stallions up for public breeding, or straws. KP requires 2 copies, as well as 2 kit genes (think Roan or Tobiano) to show up. KP2 just needs one copy to be visible.
Here are the search results for stallions with KP

And here are the results with KP2

Right now is a good time to breed to REALLY high quality studs! Because many are being promoted and offering cheap breeding :D
-
Are you wanting KP or KP2? I've got one stud with KP and one with KP2. I can set them for the lowest possible price for live cover.
-
@Tarma
KP , Do I have a mare that it would work with ? Theyve all bred this month but I could get a hold of a similar one
-
You just need one that carries a couple kit genes. And is a color you like. KP doesn't like roan much though.
-
-
Yeah. My boy is a foundation too, so there's a better chance of foals passing breeding advice.

@Tarma
Not sure if it worked? Cant really see it but did come up in genes ,
Shes pretty thoughh

You'll need to breed her to a stud with either KP or KP2 when she's old enough. Hopefully her foals will get the genes from both parents when you do. My boy has plenty of live cover breedings left if you want to keep trying for a colt.
