I am closing my studs to swapping as I am full up on what I can keep and how many I can breed. I will have a stud ad for straws for sale soon though if anyone wants to buy straws outright.

I am looking for someone with an era 4 stud they are looking to promote for the futurity to swap straws with. Let me know which of my stallions you want straws from and which stallion you are offering straws in kind from.

My staws will have a 2-year expiration on them so that they must be used next season as I want enough foals for futurity contention. I am happy to take straws with similar restrictions or just promise to use them next season. I also promise to use them on era 4 mares, and keep any foals that result from this swap at least until they turn six so that they count for the futurity. I am looking for players to swap with willing to make the same promises.

I have no problem with your restrictions. I assume you would want the foals kept even if they are ones we would normally cull?

@Walywoohoo I made this thread to look for people who want to trade straws with me for futurity chasing. If you want straws from one of the two-year-olds you will have to wait until they are of age. Since I am looking for futurity placement I am not willing to trade straws except for breedings in February. I can sell you straws from the two-year-olds when they are old enough, but I am not interested in doing a trade for breedings several months from now.

I didn’t think about next month being the first month our era 4 second gens can be studs. I’d do a second gen set of trades next month, too.

Happy to swap second gens as well though I plan to use them on foundations mares since my 2nd gen mares won't be old enough yet.

Abhean gotcha! I would want to use him on my era 4 2 gens, since I'm doing even breeding. I'll keep him in mind for when they are old enough!
I am willing to trade for straws from the stallion I posted above, but I obviously breed riding ponies,so not sure if you're interested. I'd take some straws from this guy, with futurity in mind (breed to era 4, keep the foals, etc.)

@Abhean I definitely want to use straws from your boys on era 4 mares. They threw me some nice foals this season and I'll be keeping all of them.
I don't have many era 4 studs I'm thrilled about but I have era 2

@LookingGood Remarkable Merlin merlin would be soooo perfect for my herd. Shame he is the wrong era for me. Still, he will make pretty show babies. I can take 5 from each stud.

Would you be willing to trade for 5 from Saying Afraid and 5 from Additions Hornet? They both require licenses (that you have) so I am hoping to get straws out from them where I can.

@SummerMonarch you bred them already? Those foals don't count for the futurity. They have to be born next year for it.

I’d love 5 straws from Additions Hornet and 5 from Divine Medication if possible. I’d only bred them to my era 4 foundation mares. I don’t have any era 3 or 4 studs I could trade with you. But I could send 10 straws from this guy. He’s era 0 and unevenly bred, but tends to throw high PT scores and could produce some good show ponies? I’d also be happy to pay hbs. If you’re not willing, absolutely no worries - just though I’d ask :)
