Selling Very low PT Dun Splash Xpro for LOW PT breeders
-
Here she is! Just .4 PT and an Xpro
PT Ought 4 -
Beautiful! She will actually produce great foals though, not low points :D
-
oh i'm sorry. I thought there was a market for these. Every day I'm learning something. She still isn't for my barn though with the thousandth change I'm making to it.

PT score can indicate how well a horse will show, and is separate from breeding ability. People tend to use them as correlated with each other, that a high PT will mean the horse is a high star/gold paper, but that's not quite how they work.
In this case, although the mare has a 0.4 PT score and won't show well, she is an exceptional producer, which means her offspring, on average, will be better than average. I do minimal breeding on this server, but she would do well stuck in someone's pasture where she doesn't have show.HJ1: Chateau Albere-239543

You're fine! People are/will be breeding for low PT. But any exceptional producer will produce high PT, even though she has a low PT. Basically, they will have to breed horses that will fail BA.
