I just attempted to buy a horse for my recipient from ConvivialityFarm and wasn't able to complete the sale because we are associated! We don't know each other irl and when I checked my associated accounts the list was really long and I'm associated with Ammit and all of her test accounts :P

Is there a way to unassociate us? or is that against the rules?

Not sure about a way to unassociate but happy to be the middle man if needed. Just send me a PM with your player IDs and I can set up a chat! :)

thanks @LadyHawkeStables! I think I remember heard something about 3rd party sales being against the rules, so I figured I'd post here first to avoid a rodeo! I'll keep your offer in mind in case I'm wrong.

Pretty sure it's not against the rules if you truly aren't associated. It just can't be used to circumvent the rules and allow people to sell between accounts so it's good that you posted here so that Ammit is aware.

I don't ever offer to new players just in case, but you are both well established players and this is being posted pubically so I think we have the bases covered!

Yup, that is the way to do it. Only offer to help if you are very sure two people are not the same people.

We are associated because I had to log into your account to check on an issue for you. Accounts become unassociated given enough time and activity. You also don't have that limitation if both accounts have premium upgrades.
