Newbie Needs advice
-
So I have played once before a couple of years ago and honestly, I am feeling a little overwhelmed. I am having a hard time figuring out what horses I need to keep, I upgraded my account so I have plenty of room but that also means I may have went a little overboard creating horses lol. I am looking for any advice on the best way to get up and started, and the best way to decide which horses to keep for now.
Also is it easier/better to just focus on a couple of different colors/patterns at first or should the main focus just be on getting decent breeding/showing horses?
Thank you for reading and sorry for the long post, I am just a little stumped but if you made it this far I greatly appreciate you :) -
I've had a quick look at your stable and here are my thoughts to help you get started. :)
You don't have enough show horses (geldings/spayed mares). You should have about 3 to 5 times as many altered stock as you have breeding stock. These are your money makers if you make sure they are entered in shows twice a week. At the moment you are getting pointed creates which bring in income, but once you hit your cap then you won't have that bonus any more.
I would also say that you have more stallions than you need. One stallion can cover 50 mares a season. You need fewer stallions than mares. Also, breed C stallions to Yellow mares and B stallions to Red mares for more chance at stock that passes Strict Breeding Advice.
Other than that, play your way! There is no right or wrong way to play this game. Perhaps focus on one or two aspects of breeding for the time being and see how you get on.
I hope this helps.HAJ1 White Valley #60847 HAJ3 minimum #175
