What do you guys breed for?
-
Right now I’m kinda just experimenting. I’ve read a thread about chocolate palominos, saw someone mention Silver (I think?), but hand to God I have NO idea what I really like.
Almost every single horse I create, I literally exclaim “Daaamn, you are beautiful” I have no standards!
So what are you guys into? I’d love to see what more discriminating players are up to. -
Great question! You will find that everyone has different things they all go for and you will see so many combos that you go “ohhhhh” and “ahhhh” at. Every day I see something new that I always swear I will create a new line for haha.
I breed chocolate (fantasy) dun bays, dunskins, and perlino duns with gulastra plume and sabino. Have been adding in dun promoter although it is not quite all the way integrated yet. I’m up to the 7th generation with these kiddos.
6G The Experiment TDSP
I also have 2 up and coming young projects: a chocolate silver black dun chinchilla project and a platinum bay/brown with DP and gulastra plume project.
Here is Henry:
Hershey Kisses CLP
And Jack!
The Pumpkin King
I also have a brand new liver red line but the stud is not finished yet and I’m sorta keeping him hidden for now hahah
Anyway I hope you enjoy and I am interested to see what others will share about their lines!TheBlueMoors ID 78

I just really like draft horses, lol.
That being said, I’m casually working towards getting the ultimate free fantasy double gene foal, just to see what that looks like, and Lace/Lace mares. -
I breed for appaloosas in all shapes and sizes, but on my other account I just do whatever as that is my personal account were I mainly have lesson horses.
this guy is prob my fav tho https://mesa.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=1701671TwinRidgeHorses

I love seeing other players breeding projects. I currently am working on a few different breeding projects. I also have silver black chocolate chinchilla
This is one of the mares
Chocolate Daydream
I also have a watercolor line and my this is on of my studs
Starstrucks Zeus
I also have a platinum line, chocolate line, and silver black with all different white markings line and a brown non fantasy line. And an axiom line lol I also have a few satin horses as well. And I'm starting onyx. Eventually I'll be combining them.

I chose based on the genes I love the most in real life. Duns, Roans, Rabicanos and Sabinos.
So I have a Dun/Rabicano line and a Sabino/Roan line.
RAM Mouse In The House
RAM Blue Pineapple
I've been dabbling in a fantasy line too, but have not established a clear direction for that one yet.
It seems to me that really popular options are anything that has DP, or more rare genes like satin, DFP1, KP, etc. I also have noticed (in my opinion) that drafts/cobs seem to be most popular, following by riding horses/riding ponies, then sport ponies, then warmbloods.
Maybe I feel that way because I prefer warmbloods, so I'm paying closer attention to how often I see them pop up in people's posts.Ramshorn Ranch

Ha I feel the same as you; everyone is a stunner, and I want ALLL the colors lol

I have 5 accounts across all 3 servers because I can't keep lines separate to save my life. Mind you I've been here awhile and keep everything on a basic upgrade.
This account: Sooty grey wild bays with champaign and nd1. All Cobs.
DejaRea on Mesa: Heavy hom sooty bays with lots of things mixed in.
Seaswell on Forest: As many closed genes as I can get on a horse without gmts, prefer heavy but I have several warmbloods in my higher gens cause a stud was amazing.
Seaswell6 on Forest: Pearl and W1 and random amazing herd helpers. Draft.
Seaswell on Bluegrass: Teeny tiny bays and blacks with lots of dilutes and tobiano.10869

Oh wow, LG that Silver is gorgeous. I think you’ve helped me discern 1 think I like: flaxens and silvers. Thank you for that, now I have 1 thing :\">
RSH duns are my favorite in real life too! I actually started this game bc I got fun and buckskin mixed up.
Waly what scares me is that there are so many more colors than I thought, haha!
Sea, I have a feeling I’m going to need another acct too. Or two. Or three. :-)) those all sound like great categories. -
I'd definitely advocate for having two accounts, my sweet spot is 3 I find more than 4 without premium on any makes it hard to make sure everyone gets shown every week.10869
