Brindle horse? Solved
-
G6 1673297
This guy's color says Brindle but I only see one line of colors/only one strand. Where would the Brindle be coming from? -
Doesn’t look right to me. My guess is a bug somehow. Back in the old days of huntandjump chimeric horses had brindle added to their color name and they only showed one strand of dna with gene testing. Now that this feature has been upgraded to be more realistic it should show two dna strands and both color names. He looks like the old system.
@Ammit is probably the only one who could tell you the answer for sure.Ramshorn Ranch

Not a bug at all. Dun Factor Promoter: DFP1/DFP1 <-This is the gene for inheritable brindle. You are confusing it with chimeric.Need to contact me? Read this first.

Sorry to come back here. I’ve been chewing on the difference between chimera and brindle and trying to understand. I think I’ve hit the crux of my problem:
Is the herd helper Brindle Breakout not a brindle?
ps: Thank you to all the creators and mods of this game. I really love it. The time and education put into this is remarkable. Happy to be here & support. -
Brindle is a coat pattern, not a gene. Chimerism is one of but not the only thing that can cause the brindle coat pattern. The game has inheritable brindle and chimeric brindle. Not all brindles in the game are chimeric, and not all chimeras in the game are brindle.Need to contact me? Read this first.
