Points & Lifetime Payout
-
I surprised myself with these lovelies that are over 1k pointers so if I were to sell them idk what I’d sell them for and probably sell them cheap without realizing it :( I just posted about my dark chocolate foal and someone said if I were to sell them I should post for no less than 250k and my jaw almost dropped. I don’t know if anyone buys horses for that price granted I don’t sell near that much. As I said I have no clue what to sell for. This is the foal that’s just under 1k points, then the ones that are over 1k

UB RS Baroque
Just made 5 more horses intended for breeding/curiosity and I got another 1k+ mare but she got spayed and I don’t know if I should sell her or not. I’m thinking of trying for a stallion for higher points, would that be smart? Obviously my stables are visible to anyone, I basically only use the main stable as of right now and the welcome pack barn as sales/auctions. So if anyone wants to look and give me tips I’d be more than happy.
Spayed mare:

Current stallion(s):
Breeder:

Fantasy gene future stud *not quite worried on his points right now*:
Multi Fantasy Dreams UB
So basically to sum everything up:
Selling: I’m not sure what to price horses based off anything… I need some advice on that please!
Should I go for a high point stallion? Therefore will I possibly get higher point babies?
Should I keep high point spayed/neutered horses or does it depend on how many high point horses I have?
Foals/colts: Is there any way to tell if they’ll be high point or is it just wait it out till they get older? Most of mine are .5 granted they were bred low.
Thank you in advance! -
Update: I just made this stud who’s just under 1k points
UB RS 50 Shades of Pale
Just made this boy with the heard helper, should I sell him?
UB RS Hail Science
And him… :
RFE RS American Soldier
Seems easier to get high point mares than stallions.. -
Personally, I would keep them all. More points you hold, the bigger daily payout you have. I would sell off lower pointed ones (50%ish of their lifetime) to get some cash in hand to either buy another barn to house your money makers. Your daily will build eventually with showing and gaining more points. It won't be quick.
It's really the luck of the draw on how many points they get. After awhile, you won't be able to make the 100 pointers, so keep them! When you can't make any with points, start buying any you see at a reasonable price. My advice is when you do create horses, make 2yr Olds from herd helpers that have exceptionally perfect or perfect foundations. (Most all rank specials are at least perfect - 9.9PT) The longer they train and can show the more points you could rake up. You have a basic upgrade, so your horses will train weekly to help out. Just mass enter barns whenever you get on.
The dark chocolate could go for 250k due to the rarity of the herd helper itself. (With the economy on this server it's up in the air :D) But the points make it worth more too. -
Strongly agree. Don't sell them you will only handicap yourself in the long run.Need to contact me? Read this first.

I’m who said 250k. I also agree not to sell. But if you do sell, sell high.
