To everyone that has been helping out and buying horses - thank you all!

After talking with @pinkie3 we think it's time for a new version of this and an increased bonus amount (possibly 75k-100k).

I plan to create a new post at the end of June to incorporate the new changes to the user experience. I would love your input on both the amount and any "words of wisdom" :)

When i started i was very grateful for this post and players buying horses to help new players. It definitely helped me! I havent gotten a chance to buy a horse from this thread however if i notice a fairly new player with a horse posted for the hbs i buy it or offer to buy one for x amount to help out. So many players have helped me and i enjoy and want to keep paying it forward :) As im getting my show herd going Id be willing to do 100k (i know how fast it goes) however since im fairly new im not sure my opinion matters on this. I really appreciate the players here and how much everyone is willing to help out. It has made my game experience that much better :)

@LadyhawkeStables, This money really does help the newbies. I certainly asked for the 50k when I started and was so grateful for it. Yes, 100K is a good idea to me. If possible, pinning it to the top is a great idea too.

@LadyhawkeStables once I get my show bonus up high enough to cover it, I'll definitely be good with a 100k priced to help out. 50k was nice when I started, but it certainly didn't last long. Make sure to put in that the horses need to be low point horses or just bred foals, though, or they might place good pointed show ponies. I'd rather buy a low to no point horse to help out than one they could definitely use themselves.

I read the top of the thread talking about starting a new pinned post with a 100k payout. I wonder if making it a “sell us two low pointed horses you don’t want” to get to 100k (rather than one horse for 100k) would help spread the burden? Most days I can grab a 50k horse but a 100k horse is a push for me.

Then again, I should focus on getting to that 80k points held cliff myself. I think I achieve that today!

Well, that was before the changes to the new player achievements. We haven't talked about that in a while, and the achievements pay out much more now so I'm not sure if the increase is really necessary.
