I believe they are asking if they currently do not hold say a DPF2 license (closed gene), purchased through RNGs, can they spend 20 tokens to put on a horse?

@Tarma yes you habe to own the lic to add the gene. I tried it to find out. Hope that helps

You do NOT have to already own the license to add the closed genes to a horse. You will receive a license when you add the gene. (This only applies to foundations, of course).

I just tested it on my side account that did not own any closed genes. I added a copy of mushroom and received the license for it

My mistake accidentally selected a line horse and it didn't show up....tried with a foundation *imagine what, lol* it worked :) my apologies for the confusion
