Howdy yall! I've been obsessed with horses my entire life (31 years) and used to show a gorgeous appaloosa when I still lived with my parents. I found the game through a pinterest post. I currently only have a cat, an orange butthole named Kyo, but I would love to be rich enough to own a horse or two someday. Also, I prefer tea.

Hi, still finding my way around. I joined because coat genetics has always fascinated me. I was looking up color charts and this game popped up...and here I am.

Hi— I don’t recommend putting anything the Ammit account gives you into the auction. Put them for sale for too much money (100,000 or more) and let them sit for a day or two. Strawberry Moon is common and worth less but everything else is super rare. Especially if it has points.

(Want to know how rare something is? Go to your member home button and click on my herd helpers. It’ll give you a list of the number of that herd helper in the game. I dunno if this will work but my link is here—

Note that there are ZERO heels and pearls in game - a coming up herd helper - so we are going to want those. Price accordingly. Older players are not cash strapped like you are. I sold a New Coke for 1 mil, not kidding.)

If you have “dumb” questions, I highly recommend the player help chat. It’s a mix of old and new players and someone likely knows the answer.

Well, NONE of the Rank Special/Ammit account horses are worthless, and most are NOT super rare. Many people like the Strawberry Moon rank special quite a lot. It also does not mean that they are less valuable. The 'popular' market for horses for sale changes all the time. Horse sales is not the recommended long term strategy for earning money on Hunt & Jump. Building a solid show herd is.

And there is only ONE stupid question, it is the one you don't ask! :)

Oh, sure, everyone should keep all the pointed creates they can. It’s just that I’ve bought some rank specials for 3000 ~ 5000 in auction that I know would go for more in direct for sale. If they are dumping them in the auction, they are selling them anyway.

I didn’t learn the auction wasn’t a place for me to make money for awhile. It seemed logical to me that the auction would make more than direct sale. Turns out it’s the opposite. That’s the full totality of my point.

Please keep your pointed creates, new friends. I did not, and it is a long road uphill (which involves buying your pointed creates from auction.) But, if you are going to sell something, I advise against the auction and instead either directly pricing it something with at least four zeros or asking the help chat for help.

Hi,
One of the achievements is to sell a horse. I'm wondering how that works.
Will putting it up for sale below the 2,500 hbs and clicking the "sell horse" button suffice?

Or do I also have to go to the forum for auctions and sales and post something?

It has to be a direct sell, correct?
Auction won't fulfill the achievement?

Hi Litha! You have to wait for the horse to actually sell to get the achievement points. You can sell it in a private chat room, I think, but auctioning is a whole different achievement.

Edit to add: I snuck into your barn and bought your sale horse!

Oh um, hello, I'm so nervous but hi!

I am RoseTheInkDemonWolf, but you can me Rose if you want, or something else if you want to call me something else.

But um, I love horses and well, I found this game full of horse lovers like me!

I don't ride real horses, only the ponies at the fair, but I had enough experience from it. And it's like riding an actual horse but smaller.

But anyways, I also wanted to have a horse OC, whether yearling, 2 yrs, 3 yrs or 4yrs it wouldn't matter!

But um, thank you for letting me introduce myself and all, I hope I become a regular um- I don't know, a regular something.

But thank you whether or not this is long, just thank you for letting me become one of the family members here!

@CharGemm, you have to purchase most of the fantasy genes with real life money. Go to the Upgrades section of the left side menu.

Hello, all! I joined this game because I love horses and genetics. I've finally started my lifelong dream of taking horse lessons, so that's exciting!

This game seems really cool, but I'm a bit overwhelmed, even after reading the guides. One thing I'm confused about is papering. How can I paper a horse? Do I have to upgrade my account?

Is there any way I can paper a horse using in game money instead of real money? I just created my first horse and I'm trying to figure out whether or not he is "good", and how he compares to others. I tested him and it have me an advice to breed him, but it seems that papers are very important to alot of players here. Even if I was willing to pay real money to paper him, I don't know how I would even go about that.

GoldenUnicorn, it looks like someone answered your question on the main forum. Did that clear it up for you? The horses you get from a Rank Special herd helper are guaranteed to be perfect show horses AND perfect breeding horses, maybe even exceptional, so you don't need to test them to know that part.

Congratulations on the Lottery win, GudHorse, you can randomly win anywhere from 10,000 HBs up to 1 million HBs every time you create a new horse!

Hello, I'm still pretty new here. I've loved horses all my life. My neighbor and dear friend of mine had horses and I used to go over and help her take care of them in the evenings. She was a huge animal activist and taught me a lot about horses, and how to clicker train. She was one of my role models <3 (she passed away a couple years ago from a 4-year battle with pancreatic cancer).
