    When you send a gift to someone and they have a copy of the license of a gene does it take your copy of the license as well? I only have one copy and had gotten a couple horses for my secret gift person and they have genes for the horses I bought.

    If they have the lic gene already you can send them horses who carry it without worry.

    The only part im not sure about is if you gift the original horse you bought (and placed) the lic gene for/on.

    Ok lets do an example here. I own a Phantom Gene. She owns the same Phantom Gene. I bought a horse with a Phantom Gene that we both own. So my only copy of the Phantom Gene I own and she owns (Lets use Lace here) would stay with me? My Lace gene would not go to the other person as they also own the Lace Phantom Gene?

    " Gene licenses can also be transferred with this system if they are on foundations. Clones can not be used to transfer a license."

    If it is a foundation and you send it she gets your license if it is not a foundation or a clone she does not.

    Correct. You own a lace 1 and they own same lace 1 you buy a second horse who carries lace 1 and send over, you still have your lace

    LookingGood you need to be clear about foundation versus lined because what you posted is false if she sends a foundation horse
