Can I give my stable to someone else to merge with theirs?
  • I have a stable full of fancy herd helpers and nearly complete GM projects. Can I just give my whole stable away to someone to merge with theirs?
  • I know the new changes are causing you turbulence but I hope you are able to work through it and stay around. I’ve enjoyed our interactions on here.

  • According to Ammits comments on FB I’m just a grifter… even though I made my intentions clear while building my account that I was wanting to make it a pay it forward account and make cool GM projects to up for free breeding and hosting contests. She suspended my account until September, so now I can’t even give my horses to people who can use them and my giftee is just out of luck. For some reason it didn’t kick me out of the forum yet.

  • Unfortunately they made a nasty post on the fb group, sent me nasty messages, and are currently making new accounts to try and get around the sabbatical. I have sadly had to lock their account. It's unfortunate when people take things to such extremes. I am always happy to work things out with folks and make accommodations as long as they aren't being abusive. :(

    They made tens of millions of hbs by selling pointed creates and never built a show barn, so ya they were livid about the change. Is what it is. We just aren't that kind of game.

    ETA: they have made so many accounts now to try and start more drama that I am having to block their IP. It's late. I have been on the clock for 14 hours now. I don't need someone on a rampage while I am trying to sleep.

  • Wow, thats really unfortunate and very sad to hear :( You do your best to make this game run smoothly and efficiently for everyone all while trying to keep it fun and enjoyable. I'm sorry you have to deal with things like this :( I couldn't love this game more, no matter what changes come :x

  • I appreciate the sentiment. It actually means more than you can know. Every business runs into the occasional costumer having a really bad day and taking it out on the staff. I would have been more than happy to help her refund some of those GMTs she spent or figured out a way forwards and I know our members would bend over backwards to help her.

  • @Ammit For what it's worth, I have never found a game that I enjoyed so much that I dedicated so much of my time into it. I joined (Forest and Bluegrass) 7 years ago and I have loved every minute. When i started, I just had fun figuring it all out on my own until i discovered the forum and met the community. This is one of the most amazing and positive game communities I have met and it's all thanks to you and your hard work :) I am happy to step in and volunteer wherever I can because I absolutely love giving back to you and everyone who has helped me along the way :x

  • @Ammit I actually had ForgedInFire as my giftee for level 1. I’m happy to take over for their giftee instead, I just may need some help from the other wonderful people on here to make the adjustment because I doubt the gifts I bought for FIF will line up.

    Just figured that’s probably the easiest GE solution for you, so it’s a 1:1 transfer!

  • @AshfordAcres let me know what you need help with. As long as it isn't anything fancy, I can probably help since I've been rather eclectic on my collecting strategy.

    @Ammit So far, I've found nothing to complain about with the new system. It'll actually make things easier when it comes to getting my help-new-players project completely off the ground. Money was the issue, and you seem to have solved that one.

  • Be in contact anyway for the gift exchange. I've probably made all the arrangements I can for gifts and need SOMETHING to keep me from going nuts while I wait to be able to send.
  • In all our years running the gift exchange, we have never had someone banned during it. We did have someone have to go on sabbatical once and did just what AshfordAcres suggested. It worked really smoothly.
