Watercolor will be super saturated/monotone on a black base! Here are some examples from my herd:

If you'd like more variation on the coat, I suggest adding bay and/or some dilutions!

Bays are my favorite because you really get the two toned look on their black points vs their body. Regardless I think black based (EE) is definitely the way to go for watercolor. Here are some of my favorites from my bluegrass account!

I like it on bays too! If you don't have enough before rollover it will also be for sale in June.
