Why Do All of These Gray Chestnuts Look Liver?
-
I created a gray sty/sty Chestnut this morning that looked like a liver chestnut but didn't have DP. When I did a quick seach it appears that I'm not the only one. Did the new gray update cause some sort of darkening to happen?

I’d noticed this too! Does sooty have a darkening effect on grey in real life genetics?
-
I think that gray causes hyperpigmentation in foals before they start to lighten.
-
That's how gray works in real life. It's called hyperpigmentation and one of the ways you can identify a gray foal
