Buckskin Breeding Club?
-
I’m confused by the lack of a buckskin breeding club. Do buckskins count as a dun variant or are they just lightened bays?
-
I was able to enter mine in the cream club, I think. Palomino and cremello are chestnut with single and double cream but they aren't allowed in chestnut club. Buckskin are bay with one cream and aren't allowed in the bay club.
-
They go in the cream club.Need to contact me? Read this first.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

This is it's current function, but Ammit recently said it will be changing due to new real world discoveries. She does try to keep the genes as true to life as possible (except fantasy genes obviously) and tries to update as the science updates.“But I don’t want to go among mad people,” Alice remarked.
“Oh, you can’t help that,” said the Cat: “we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.”
“How do you know I’m mad?” said Alice.
“You must be,” said the Cat, “or you wouldn’t have come here.” -Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Chapter 6 -
Thank you! I appreciate it.
To check my understanding, A/t is a normal bay. An [nothing]/t or t/t in the bay slot would be required to see this extra black causing mutation.
I’m tempted to gene modify that just to see what it would look like. Or try to search for it. Or something.
I like that I’m learning actual IRL horse genetics— previously I had palominos and buckskins in the same bucket in my head.
Thanks again.
