My first time collecting eggs, I was trying to collect just one egg from this girl and then possibly make her hom DP, but I accidentally did a mass flush! Ugh. Noob. I'm assuming that the genes stay at what they were when I collected and there is no use adding another DP now?

As long as she has no descendants you can still change her.

Thank you! The question though is if I add DP now does it get added to the eggs? Or am I stuck with het DP eggs?

I would guess that the eggs would re-set to the new genes, but, I'm not positive.

@LadyhawkeStables the eggs will have whatever genes the mare has. So whatever you add will still be passed through the eggs. I would mass flush my GMT project mares on the other servers monthly and save the eggs til i was done modifying them so i didn't miss a season with them :)

@ashbrookefarm @confluenceranch @onlychrystal Just had a thought and another question on this topic. If I flush a mare and then stick her back in the pasture and wait 30 days to use the eggs will I get the 30 day bonus or does that only apply to live pasture breeding's?

The pasture bonus only applies to the breeding done in pasture, lab breeding (with eggs/straws) never gets the pasture bonus.

Thank you! Although I did read on the FB group that Ammit made some updates and added a small bonus to lab breeding so I'm excited about that! Just wasn't sure if I could stack on top of that or not!

Pasture bonus only applies to the pasture, lab bonus only applies to the lab. They do not stack.
