Just a word of advice to new players. (Not directed at you, SEWMYRANCH, just me thinking it was time for a reminder for everyone!) Whenever you put horses up for sale on the public boards for less than 2500 HBs you are taking the chance that someone will buy the horse then immediately put it in the auction, where the guaranteed purchase price is 2500 HBs. It is perfectly ok to do so, I just want everyone to be aware of the possibilities.

When/If you have a horse you want to send to, or sell cheaply to help out a new player (for example), it is best that you post a note on the forum and let folks know to respond to you. If you need help with the mechanics of the sale, you can ask someone with an upgrade to help out by using their chat room, or you can arrange to meet the purchaser online at a specific time, so that they can find and buy the horse as soon as you put it up for sale. Just remember that you can't put anything on the horses page to indicate that it is for one person, specifically. No owners notes, or name changes. Horses have to be available for ANYONE to purchase if they are posted on the public sales/breeding boards.
