Oh How I Love Pastures
-
Pasture breeding is what started my journey in lined chimera horses, with my boy UVS Metal Is Religion. He has been very successful in giving me what I've been wanting with 7 chimera foals (so far!)
Now his son - UVS Echoes of Religion - that tested equal to him, was thrown into his pasture as well with 53 foundation and lined chimera mares.
I was worried about my original boy getting old and possibly not having any other good studs, but I was very lucky this year as I came out with three lined chimera colts that all passed BA! One subtle, one loud, and one really loud.
UVS Haunted Metal Echo
UVS Metal On Time
UVS Metal Is A Mystery
And in my other pasture, a lovely hom chinchilla colt!
UVS Shining Blue Wolf
Did you have any pasture breeding successes?

I had many. A majority of my mares that I breed are from pastures. This season I felt bad for the first chimera Albert's Soul threw at me and put him in with his dad. I also put in one of the studs that was going to replace Liberation when he passed in with his group. I've been using my two axiom chinchilla males. One that's 18 this season. And there were some really good ones this time around. Many many amazing surprises.

He's just so pretty.

I love the fact he ended up with het chin, heraxiom and the PBC
Petty Blue Shadow
Now he nearly killed me when I saw him. He had absolutely surprised me and blew me away and I plan on using him to replace his father once his father passed away.

Another het axiom. I tend to get those a lot.

Another triple het fantasy gene boi

She stunned me. I'm sad shes spayed though. Such contrasting colors make her so beautiful.
760839
Sad she's spayed as well.

This girl is really interesting. Her family involves one male from fantasy pasture. Then Ghost from my TE1 pasture. So now I have a chimera with het axiom green on one strand. I plan on putting her into the pasture with Liberation.

Genetic wise shes not anything special, but I just love her look.

Another het axiom

She is very pretty
The last three geldings I have are 2 het axioms and one het chn. Overall this season was a fairly good season with more to come next season as some of the other mares grow up and are able to breed. -
Beautiful! I try to keep fantasy out of my herd save for chocolate, chin, and phantom genes. I'm sad as some of my top breeding Chimera mares are turning 19 next year and may not make it!- Specializing in W3, DFP1, SB2 & Natural Bred Chimera -

Viking I LOVE your hom chinchilla boy!
And Kentucky, Petty Blue Shadow is unlike anything I’ve seen on here, he’s stunning! -

Wow she really is beautiful. And I completely agree on Petty Blue Shadow. We shall see what hes gonna look like as an adult.
