shes up for sale, she got champange and dun
  • Hi FiveToNine! Just so you know, I think this horse is priced over what she’s worth. Generally basic pointed creates go for half their lifetime payout, but I’ve seen rank specials like this go for more, so it definitely could be worth more than that! I’d suggest looking around and seeing what similar horses sell for :)

EDIT: I’m also quite bad at determining market value, so maybe other more experienced users can chime in. I might be wrong.
  • It can be super difficult to determine the value of new rank specials and a lot of times the first a HH comes out people tend to hold on to it for a while to see what the demand is (just like RL demand drives market value)

This rank special was originally a part of a the Lapis HH which also had a closed gene and couldn't be put up for public sale so it's hard to draw a conclusion from that.

With this girl you have to consider both her points and the special gene (S+) which is 20 GMTs (2.5 million hbs) in the lab or $10 RL (~1-1.5 million hbs). I also like to check other servers to see what the demand is there.

On Forest I saw an offer for 1 mil for a very similar 1000 point horse, but on Bluegrass I have only seen 100k and 300k for non pointed horses. You also have to consider the state of the market on this server which I put at roughly 1/4th of the other servers based on other rank specials I've sold (i.e. 7500 for a Candy Appy here but 30000 on Bluegrass)

Anywho, if I had to throw a dart out at a price for this girl I would shoot for 150,000-250,000 but that could drop very quickly if the demand isn't there. Again this is a a very tricky and subjective topic with no "right" answer so keep that in mind!
  • Thank you for your thoughtful input @ladyhawkestables! Pricing is really tough and definitely driven by supply and demand.
  • I put her up for 300k to see if she will sell
