Hi RebelDun! You should also check out the Dun Factor promoter gene. It puts gorgeous shoulder and back markings on them!

I want to learn horse color breeding patterns and it makes no sense to me. My favorite Instagram is breeding champagne Appaloosas in Nambia and the comments section is all about color testing. It got me curious so here I am!

Hi everyone. I'm Tamsyn. This is such a cool place to be, I'm from south africa and I have a huge "thing" about appaloosas, they are my dream horses ( I own my very own little appie gelding, he will be 2 this year) are there any tricks to the game, I unfortunately can only use the free game. But I love it none the least! Thank you to who ever created this game, I can see I'm going to absolutely love it! A friend of mine in America suggested that I have a look into the game and I'm so glad I did!

WarPhoenix, played the game quite a bit before account went idle, although I don't know what I'm going to strive to breed for now. Always had a thing for Appaloosas as I used to own one in real life. Guess we will see where that takes me!

Heyo. I'm Kentucky, some peeps call me Hope, Kj, Hap, and a variety of other names. I found this game through Instagram. I have always love breeding horse games and have extra genetics and colors makes it all the more exciting. I honestly would strive for looking at colors rather than anything else. I tend to like the blacks and whites over the browns, but I love all colors. I'm not one who likes the plain colorations, I like my horses with a bit of extra spice to them. Anyway, I digress, I'm excited to be here and meet new people and see what this game has to offer. :)

@LuckyStarRanch - are you still in South Africa? That's so cool! The best bit of advice I can give you (all) is to load up on the show horses. (Horses that are spayed or gelded get a showing bonus.) The reccommended ratio is 3 show horses to every 1 breeding horse. People have so much fun with the breeding part they forget that the show horses are what pays for the foals!

@WarPhoenix - Ammit has added a couple of new features for appaloosas recently. Snowflake is fairly new, and Varnish regulator (aka Halo) is also new.

@Kentucky241 - I am one of those people who prefer the real life colors, but the variations in the real life colors are amazing. While I don't breed for them, the fantasy genes are just beautiful...if you want color, we've got every color of the rainbow!

Hi there! I just found this game on a Facebook ad and thought it looked fun, so here I am. I don't know a whole lot about horses or breeding them, so I'm kind of just here to mess around with it and have fun, no real goal in mind. If anyone has any basic tips or ideas for me that would be awesome.

Best tip: Have lots of show horses. Spayed and gelded horses are your moneymakers. You should have 3 show horses for every 1 breeding horse.

@FaeWitch I was a lot like you when I started, I had no clue what I wanted to breed. I highly suggest messing around with the "search horses" function and just take a look at all different kinds of horses so you can get an idea of what is possible.

Hi I'm new, just joined today, never had the pleasure of having a horse before but gypsy vanners are my favorite. I've always liked a splash of color on just about any animal but don't know how the breeding aspect of here works, I got all chestnuts from creating horses today and was not happy about that. So I do have questions about why that happened and how to fix it if possible

Hi, DapperGypsy! The basic "Create A Horse" feature will usually give you the basic colors; black, bay, chestnut. It's based on percentages of those colors in the real world registrations. If you want more color you can find all kinds of horses for sale by going to the search page and selecting "For Sale". You can also find what we call 'Perfect Foundations', (horses that have a perfect showing test score, and a perfect breeding ability score) by putting 9 in the "Owner ID" box.

Basically the idea is that you start from scratch and MAKE the fancy colored horses!

Ammit recently made some changes to the way tobiano shows up in your horses pictures. It takes a bit longer for the system to generate the picture, but BOY is it worth it!

Hey, Confluance, silly question about tack— some manes are the other direction in pictures (away from the viewer). I was told it was in a tack pack but I can’t find anything that says it has an opposite facing mane. Today, Ammit said they are looking for left facing horses. I guess that’s a tack pack too? Where do I find a list of what is where in tack and how to buy it? I know it is in IV exchange but I can’t figure out where specific things are— like the opposite mane or left facing.

I'm pretty sure it's something to do with the Advanced Tack Editor. It's at the bottom of the tack tab. I haven't had a chance to play around with it yet.

Hi all! I’ve been playing for about a year and a half. Fun game! In real life I have 2 Morgan mares and a mini stallion. In game, my best horses have been DFP1s but I’m partial to super dark liver Chestnut and I love breeding for Chimeras, Axiom, and Chinchilla.
