Hi! I was a member of hajinc a zillion years ago (or, like 13-ish? Has it been around that long?) I love what you've done with the place! I especially love that I can breed draft types! Big chunker horsies are the best horsies.

Hi I am Grace I am new on here, how does this game work not sure I done it right yesterday when I logged on here. I know nothing about a herd helper and it looks like make a new horse a every day. I need someone to help me and tell me what to do. I do love horses and ponies. I love breeding. I did make a horse I read some instructions on making a 3 yr old horse. and i know it goes on down the line there on the right side.

i know nothing about this breeding advice and breeding horses I want to learn so i don't make a mistake here.
i will read about all of this. are we suppose to do one task a day or can we do more than one task a day?

Do as many as you can, or feel like. Theres no time limit. This whole game is basically 'do it on your own time'.

I got a 3 yr old stallion and 4 yr old mare, I had stallion tested she can breed, was i suppose to test the mare to to see if he can breed? next one is breeding the 2 horses i am having a trouble with that one. i skipped that one and next thing that was easy to do than figuring out the breeding thing. i did read the info guide.

I don't have 5 horses yet for altered and I have don't have 10 show results in past week yet either. some of this may have to wait until I get to it later in the week or next week to do it. now buying a horse you have to have enough points to buy a horse.
can we create horses when it is not a task on the side bar here or do we have to wait until it comes back up to create another horse.

i had no idea what i am doing with a herd helper? I just messed it up i don't know how long it been there i had 24 hours to make a horse i just dismissed it when i should not of done that now i have to wait for another one to make another horse i don't have 5 yet to do next one for altered horses. i don't understand this at all. i just people would message me and tell so it won't be sitting there over 24 hours and miss making another horse. i am so sorry i dismissed that herd helper. now i can't redo it to get it back on ammit someone like that gave it me that to make a horse. some days i am busy with friends and some days i am not i do this when i get a chance to do this. I have waited for a few days to do another horse now i lost my chance to do it now i have to wait another week to get another herd helper.

You do not need a herd helper to create a horse. You can create a horse at any time using this page.

Herd helpers just help you to create horses with specific genetics. You are able to get 5 free herd helpers everyday using the buttons at the bottom of the page that I linked above.

You can also share other people's herd helpers by looking through the Daily Herd Helpers thread on the forum. Here is today's link

Once you activate or share a herd helper you have only 24 hours to use it.

Occasionally Ammit will share special herd helpers with everyone. The schedule for those herd helpers is shown on the create a horse page. You only have 24 hours to use those special herd helpers as well, just be careful not to dismiss the next one!

How long have you liked horses?
About as long as I can remember, I know I was 7 the first time I got to ride one though.

Why did you join HAJ?
Honestly? I was up late with my kitten who is recovering from her spay surgery and was just absently scrolling through Facebook. The horse pictures caught my eye and one thing lead to another.

What kind of pets do you own?
I currently have 1 dog (Flat coated retriever mix), 2 cats (Black DMH and Gray DSH), and 2 chickens (barred rock and a Dalmatian looking mystery breed)

I am always up for new friends, however I am really bad with starting conversations or even remembering to reply, so I don't make the best friend honestly.

What is something you are confused about with the game?
Still a little unclear on how to earn HB.

Tea or Coffee?
Both have their places for sure, but if I HAD to pick one it would be coffee. I'm just a bit obsessed with it, I have a grinder and a French press as well as my more traditional coffee pot. Around 94% of the cups in my house are some form of coffee cup.

Hi Vorpalalice, welcome! There are lots of folks on the forums who love to help out new players. You can also stop by the Player Support chat room with any questions.

The best way to earn HBs is to have a good herd of show horses. We usually reccommend 1 breeding horse to every 3 show horses.

Do you want fantasy genes? or real life genes? I LOVE Gulustra Plume on bays, but it is tricky to get without a couple generations of breeding.

So, it's been a year. How is everyone doing? Reached any goals or neat milestones? New goals for the next year?

I have fallen in love with chimeras and Axiom genes over the year. I have a HUGE chimera breeding operation and hope to get my first 3rd gen chimeras this season. I also managed to hit 2 Mil hbs, which was awesome. For the next year I plan to continue with my current lines, but play around with some chinchilla too. I can't wait to see how it goes.
