On my quest to get Wensum Valley Ponies to the upper levels of competition and breeding with 0% in-breeding I've ventured out into other members barns and selected several outside stallion to add into my lines.

In Y59 we bred four super youngsters from outside stock. See them and their sires listed below.

Era 6

Wensum Potassium 6G4S

Potassium is out of FoxBrookFarms E6G3 Feldspar FBF STS, who has lines going back to their stallion E6RS My Love FBF and DarkPhoenix's double Futurity Campion DP E7G1 Rhyolite. On his dams side he has outside lines to Walywoohoo's Futurity Reserve Champion E6 Satin and Steel.

Asher is a beautiful mare out of RKOHaven's young stallion RKO Rising Belize. We would really love her to produce some dark coated frame foals in a couple of seasons time.

In Y60 we really want to try and ramp up the amount of new blood in our lines and have already more than doubled the number of mares bred to outside stallions.

E6

For our E6 line we were lucky enough to find that OTTB1s veteran stallion O1 6 Reputation had straws available, so we took advantage and bred some really lovely prospective broodmares.

Both Freezy and Maiden were bred by Khisanth and are by RideOutStar's stallion Perfect Temperature. We're really pleased to be able to purchase these wonderful foals from another stables lines that aren't already in our barns.

Just an fyi "out of" means "out of the womb of". It only applies to mares. It's a super common mixup. :x

Love it! Happy to see your lines developing! I will have more 0% for 5-8 up for auction at the end of the month. I’m going for an audacious 10 generations for each (yeah I’m nuts). I’m also trying to keep same barn foundations together so that those also developing 0% lines can easily find other lines not already included in theirs. I have a nice line of Wensum ponies and looking forward to seeing what else you create! :D

Blue is by Acorn's lovely stallion E7G3 SpongeBob and has inherited a gorgeous colour genes and lines back to Walywoohoo's futurity stallion E7 Garnet Passion. I'm really looking forward to seeing his first crop of G5 babies.

@Khisanth you've been way more organised and regimented with your foundations than I have. I've pretty much made myself a rather large foundation knot that's going to bite me past G5, I must be mad too!

I really love to see my lines in other peoples herds and definitely would love to hear about any awards etc their offspring win for other members. Please do keep me updated if you have time, that goes for anyone with Wensum in their pedigrees.

Also please do give me a prod when you put that auction up, I'd hate to miss out!
