Looking for show ponies

Hello! I am looking for show ponies since I am new to this server and would like some horse bucks. I am not sure how old this server is but I would like older horses. Thanks!

As this is the newest server, unfortunately you aren't going to find older horse giveaways like the other servers. The oldest horse on this server is only 10 years old. I have seen giveaways for spelded foals with PTs around 11 which are fantastic in the long run, but you have to be patient. Everyone here still has very very low daily payouts and we are all trying to work our way up together. Personally, I love the challenge of starting at ground zero! :)
Luckily you are a new account so you are still able to create pointed creates which is one of the best ways to build that daily payout. Bootstrapping with A papered studs seems to be another popular route right now and don't forget to keep an eye on the auctions! -
I have a question what is bootstrapping? I kinda have a idea what it is but then I don't know if I am right :)

You're welcome! The idea is taking a high papered (star on other servers, A for this server) lined stud and breeding him back to foundation mares. Most of the foals don't pass BA, but they have a higher PT score than if you were just to breed foundation to foundation. This is a quicker way of building your show string rather than waiting to build up your lined mares. It's not something that I like to do with my lines, but that's just my personal preference.

I picked up a stud that is a superior son of a boosted to A foundation. He'll be starting my bootstrap herd next month when he comes of age. I found him on the forum, not the sales list, so make sure you peek at it occasionally.
Also if your making pointed creates. Making breeders 4, and blind breeding them, means you can auction the foals as well when you get rid of low pointers.Known as Seaswell on HJ1(237808) & HJ2(45120)
