• I want to give some hbs away.

Please comment on one or multiple of the topics. I will be giving out random amounts of hbs until the 15th. I will comment when I've sent hbs.

Favorite book and why,
Something another player has done that you appreciated,
Best compliment you've received and how it impacts you today,
Five gratefuls,
Favorite word and why.

Looking forward to what you all share <3
• 1. Whenever I see a request for a book recommendation, I suggest Vinegar Girl by Anne Tyler. It's a really beautiful story, and I absolutely adore it. I don't usually reread books, but that one I go back to and savor often.
2.
• 1. Hmmm… favorite novel is really hard because I have a whole bookshelf of favorites. Ultimately, the book that has had the biggest impact on my life is the definitely the Bible
2. Something I have really appreciated is (when I was first starting out in this game) lingonberry121391 sent me a really kind, “welcome to the game” gift of hbs! It really helped me get on my feet and made me feel really welcomed into the game.
3. I think that the best compliment that I have received was from my basketball coach at the end of the season. He said that he noticed that I was always so full of Joy and that my great, Godly attitude really influenced the rest of the team. That statement really made an impression on me because it showed the strength of Gods peace and joy that He gives to those who give their lives to Him. I hope that I may always continue to share this light in the darkness of the world.
4. I am grateful for the wonderful family that God has blessed me with
I am grateful for the majestic beauty of the Horse
I am grateful for this opportunity to better my knowledge of horse genetics (something that has daunted me)
I am grateful for the life beating in my heart and the breath in my lungs
5. My favorite word? Truly, I think it’s got to be Christ. He is my hope and my salvation, in Him there is no darkness at all.
Thank you for hosting this!
• My favorite book is the Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater. It has a lot of elements that I look for when picking a novel. Horses, fantasy elements, a love story, complex characters, a good story, bittersweet resolution, all the things!

Maybe my favorite word might be Mountain. My favorite places are all in the mountains, I've lived near mountains all my life, so many good memories with family in the mountains.

• My favourite book series is The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson. I love the story, the characters, pacing etc.. but the main reason its my favourite is because me and my partner talked about it on our first date. We both immediately knew the kind of person we were sat across the table from and it sparked off the relationship with the person I love the most in the world.

• 1) My favorite book right now has to be Prince Caspian from Narnia. We just finished reading all of the Chronicles of Narnia for a grad student book club, and it was really good. I can't think right now, it's too early.
4) I am grateful for:
The opportunity I have to finally get a horse (yay!)
A family that supports me.
Friends that care about me.
A $150 equine biomechanics and massage textbook that was gifted to me!
The talents that I have.
• Favorite book and why,
My favorite changes every now and then but currently it's The Eleventh Commandment by Jeffrey Archer and Empire's End by Jerry Jenkins. Empire's End is about how Saul became Apostle Paul, revolving on themes of redemption, forgiveness, and atonement. While The Eleventh Commandment was about a CIA agent surviving the plot to kill him. Both books were bought in bargain, which made me feel like finding treasure.
Something another player has done that you appreciated,
I put up a Candy Pony for sale (which I discovered was severely overpriced) and then you bought it which allowed me to buy an upgrade much quicker than I could. Though the suggestions, advice and help in general from Ammit (is Ammit a player?), Misara, DarkPheonix, Walywoohoo, AmberHaven300, RamshornSportHorses, RideOutStar, and OTTB1 are also very much appreciated.
Best compliment you've received and how it impacts you today,
I'm very self conscious about my looks and my body which is why I wear a lot of baggy stuff, mainly joggers and shirts. One time, I had to wear a dress and someone told me it suited me and now I'm starting to get comfortable in wearing dresses though I still prefer pants.
Five gratefuls,
1) My friends that put up with my attitude and my general inability to participate in most of our gatherings.
2) My parents that will always provide for me despite our general awkwardness.
3) My siblings that are both surprises in their own ways.
4) My very affectionate brother who doles out hugs and kisses abundantly.
5. My first dog, that gave me one of the best comforts in my younger years.
Favorite word and why.
Puhon. It's from my native language, my dialect specifically. It's translated as 'soon' or 'someday'. It's usually tacked after something you want to happen or something you dream of but it's more than just imagining it. It's like a manifestation or a promise if you will. It's something that you believe will happen somewhere in the future and until you do, you will keep looking forward to it.
• What a beautiful thing to do.

I think my favourite word it empathy. It's something that's really important to me and I can't imagine anything more wonderful.
• 1) My favorite book is any poem book by Rupi Kaur! I own all 3 and they're so deep and heartfelt <3 They helped me get through a lot of crazy stuff as a teen xx
2) When I first created my account, RideOutStar helped me get started! They sent me beautiful horses to start my DFP herd xx Forever grateful
3) I remember being told by an older gentleman that one day, I would concur the world and own my own business. I was 17 at the time, I'm currently 23 and that sentence has pushed me to pursue many different career paths until I found the perfect one! Child Psychology and development xx
4) I'm grateful for friends, family, my very supportive fiancé, the many ups/downs I've faced and all the animals that I've owned/own <3
5) My favorite word is more of a saying that I tell myself when things get hard xx "The worst battles are given to the bravest soldiers." it means that no matter how hard things get, you WILL get through it xx
• Favorite book: I really loved the Divine Rivals - really good world building and captivating story.
Something another player has done that you appreciated: I'm pretty new but I really appreciate how friendly and helpful everyone has been so far, helping me with figuring stuff out.
Best compliment you've received and how it impacts you today: I had a friend say that they really loved hearing me talk about my opinions and views which really healed by inner child after my mum always shut me down as a child.
Five gratefuls:
-Found this super fun game!
-Spent time with close friends today
-Thankful for the great food I had today
-Access to safety and shelter
-I made great progress with my work this weekend
Favorite word: Ok so I know it's not a real word but Glugable (like drinkable) because it just feels right to say haha
• Random hbs have been sent :)

Truly enjoying this!!!!!

Please continue :)
Thanked by 1MistyMeadows
• 1. My favorite book, one that I’ve read a few years ago now, is The Sorority Murder by Allison Brennan. This book just captivated me, it has so much suspense, mystery, and murder but also love? I’m not sure how to describe it, its just super good and that’s why its my favorite.
2. Something another player has done that I appreciate very much, was that I had been interested in some embryos (or straws I can’t remember) but they had forgotten about them and when I sent a reminder message, they sent them for free instead of the arranged price. I’ve had this happen multiple time and just really appreciate it :)
3. I’m not going to narrow down the best compliment, but everyday at school, my lab partner makes a habit to give me a compliment every day. It could be on my outfit, hair, makeup, or something random, but it always makes my day even more amazing.
4. I’m grateful for mom (I love her so much, she helps me almost every time and yeah, the best person ever really :) ). I’m also grateful for my amazing friends, my beloved pets (and my dog who had passed a few years ago, she was such a good girl), I’m also grateful of my teachers who dedicate their days to helping us learn, and also just everyone in this site overall. Everyone is so fun and nice it makes every time I log on so easy to let go and relax.
5. My favorite word has to be “question mark.” Yes, that’s 2 words but hear me out, every time I ask a question I would say “question mark” as the symbol. I would do it at home, school, and even my dad copies me because it’s a fun little thing we both do by making random “words” and stuff to say. For example I would ask, “How much do we have to read, question mark”

lol, that’s all. Thank you!

• Favorite book (series) Is the Queen's Thief Series by Megan Whalen Turner. Unreliable narrator, loveable rogues, what's not to love. First book very much written as a young adult book; later books are much more mature in subject matter and themes

Favorite word and antepenultimate. It comes up so rarely. I think I've been able to use it maybe twice.
HJ1: Chateau Albere-239543
HJ2: Felding Fields-48504

• Haha, I hope you're not antepenultimate player to post ;)
• Even when you aren’t a new player anymore, the community doesn’t stop making you feel like one. The winter 2022 GE I came a across a horse from the search that had absolutely everything my giftee had asked for, and just my luck that the public note was something similar to ‘the first player to find this horse may have her for free, message me!’

I can’t thank you enough Westworld! (on Mesa)
