PRE or Dutch Warmblood
-
The PRE is currently registered to my Grimm breed for medium. Do you think that my breed and horses would be more marketable, if I changed it to the Dutch Warmblood? If I understand correctly, the breed type is heritable through the breed, ie if the foal inherits the breed (Grimm), then it will inherit the breed type registered to it.

Guthlo, the breed is inheritable but not the breed characteristic. If a player who already owns the BC breeds to your Grimm stud and it fits in the breed parameters, it will take on that characteristic but if a player w/o access to the BC breeds to it, it will automatically either revert to the national breed for that bone size or whatever that person's default BC for that size is.
For example, I have friesian set as my default "warmblood" size- do not have the dutch warmblood at all. I would not be able to breed a foal with the dutch warmblood characteristic.TheBlueMoors ID 78

I have not found that having a certain BC makes a horse more marketable vs not.Ramshorn Ranch
