As far as I can tell, another way to explain the above is as follows:

Horses of a certain breeding ability can throw a range for PT. So if a horse has a breeding ability of 100 they’ll create horses with PT from 9.4 to 10.8. A horse with a breeding ability of 150 can create horses with a PT from 12.5 to 14. A single boosted 155 can create horses from 13 to 14.5 and a 160 throws 14 to 15.5.

All of these numbers are made up but are roughly accurate.

Therefore, if you want high PT foals, you should use the highest breeding numbers you can get. We can’t see the breeding numbers but we get a couple of clues. We know perfects start at 100 and exper at 105. We know we hit cap, whose breeding numbers makes a max pt of 14. We know the highest PT we’ve seen is 15.3, which is out of a double booster. We know that cap + 5 is a single boosted horse. We know that + 5 on that is a double boosted horse (maxed, boosted, cloned, boosted.) We know double boosted horses make the highest PT numbers.

PT is linked to breeding ability but it’s linked as a RANGE and where the sire and mare fall in their own PT range is irrelevant for the PT of the foals they produce. It is their breeding ability that sets the PT range, not the PT they exhibit.

Of the stallions Bluemesa posted this is the best producer if that is what you are going for, but there are lots of double boosted over cap horses with much lower PTs as well.

To confirm, this means that Secret has the potential to make the highest PT horses because his maximum possible foal PT range is higher (because of his high breeding ability, not because of his PT)?

Is this a true statement: There are multiple horses at the top possible point in breeding ability , all with different PT scores. All of those horses are capable - probability is real - of throwing the highest PT when mixed with another horse at the top of the breeding ability scale.

If that’s a true statement, I get it. Maybe.

Right. So the horses with the highest breeding ability are the horses that throw the highest PT foals, correct?

I am asking nothing about the parents PT in this question.

So this boy has both parents boosted, would it be best to follow my plan and boost him too?
