Need your feedback on the Irish Draught
  • Jenx is hard at work making the next BC. We are aiming for February with this one. The Irish Draught will be a medium/heavy bc. Let us know what you think and if any tweaks need to be made.

  • I think the rear legs on the foal looks too thick from the hocks to the fetlocks. I would slim down the hocks, the cannon bones, and the fetlocks in the back.

  • I agree with Ramshorn on the foal's back legs (really makes the fetlocks looks swollen compared to the ankle size), and would chime in that the mouth/lip on the adult looks to be at a slightly funny angle. Looks almost a bit vertical for the angle the head is at? It's a super nitpicky thing, and I may or may not notice it with colors on the horse.

  • I agree with both points above. Another thing is that the lines look shaky. It might just be me, but I feel like the lines are very uneven and wobbly. Also, for the adult, the chest doesn't seem to "connect." If you look at the chest before it goes "behind" the leg, and connect it with the chest after, it doesn't line up. The foal's ears also seem to be too big and pointy.

  • I'm not sure i agree that the foals back legs are too thick. I think the front legs are too thin making the illusion that they might be thick.

I refuse to shrink the foals ears on this one lol. Ya'll got me to last time but that is what draft foals look like. :D (maybe too pointed)

  • I think its the front legs being slightly too thin and the hooves being too small?

  • Sorry, the adult. The foal is fine.

  • I agree with the back legs on the foal, maybe the fetlock and hoof need to be bigger idk
  • Maybe increasing the hindquarters on the adult or decreasing the shoulder/neck size to balance it out a bit more. Something like that. Otherwise I think it looks great!
