Shades of flaxen

    Is there a way to breed for a specific shade of flaxen, or is it a little random? These mares have basically the same genetics, but totally different shades.

    yes, there is a random factor but the genetics you start with impacts what you can get in the end.
    Sorry not currently taking any request for egg/straw/horse sales. Everything I have for sale is already listed.

    With two copies of flaxen you will get a flaxen mane but the shade is randomized. I think if you breed lighter flaxen horses together you will end up with more lighter flaxen than darker. I am not 100% sure on that it is just what I've noticed but it could be a coincidence as I don't breed a lot of flaxen.

    You could try rerolling the image. I rerolled a mare I have and she went from a really bright golden color, like this horse but the rich gold reached higher.
