You need to have the photo uploaded to an image hosting site first. I use Imgur. Then you can share the photo from Imgur via a link or using html.

Can explain further if needed. Once upon a time I found a YouTube video that explained how to use and share photos via Imgur.

I can share the link but not the actual photo, I should have specified my question lol so basically I can only upload the link to it?

Linking it works, I was able to see your submissions on the backdrops post.

I am having troubles myself getting the image embedded to appear directly in the post. Imgur has changed their share link options sometime in the last year or so, so I'll have to play around with it.

"Right-click, "copy image address" to get the url of any image on the internet."

I will note that in my browser this option appears as "Copy Image Link" instead of "Copy Image Address"

I can't "right click" I'm on mobile. I know I've done this before but I just can't get it to work... if I click my photo it says "copy url"

On my iphone I can hold click and then click the "Copy" option and it will copy the URL of the image.

The regular imgur.com share link doesn't work because that's the link to the imgur page which contains your image. Not the link for the image itself.

the imgur page link will look like: (Bad don't use)
https://imgur.com/0NGGFMK

Your actual image link will look similar but have an i. at the beginning and .png or .jpeg at the end and should look something like this: (use this one)
https://i.imgur.com/0NGGFMK.png

So when posting in the forum it should look like this, but without the *s:
<*img src="htt*ps://i.imgur.com/0NGGFMK.png" />
