Superior horses
-
Hi,
I’m trying to get better at this game. What makes a horse superior? Thanks -
It depends on what your goals for the game are. Some players just want fancy colors or a specific color or fantasy gene. So a superior horse would be one that has the characteristics they are looking for.
Some players are just trying to improve the quality of the horses in their barn against themselves. So they would want to keep horses who have a better showing or breeding ability than previous horses. (Higher PT or Higher Paper Level).
Some players are shooting for leaderboard prizes. So that involves identifying what characteristics will get you onto that particular leaderboard and then trying to select horses who are superior in those particular areas.
Are you just trying to make money? The key there is to have as many show horses as possible.
The great thing about this game is there isn't any "winners" or "losers." Each player plays a little bit differently, has different goals, and chooses what horses to keep vs. get rid of a little bit different.Ramshorn Ranch

In terms of “Superior to Sire/Dam” to figure that out you would run the comparison test (located on the control panel section for each horse) and it will tell you if the horse is better, worse, or as good as its parent (or you can test them against other horses, but the default test is against their parents).
Many players will only keep offspring that test superior to their parents, but it’s really just personal preference. ;)
