Please show us your best Andalusian Horse Reference Images -PLEASE DO NOT POST LUSITANOS!
-
What makes a good reference photo? Images should have:
-Bright, clear lighting, without overly dark shadows
-Be side-on shots with the photo taken square to the shoulder, like the current images in the game.
-Be good examples of the breed type.
-Show as much of the horse as possible, tall grass hides a lot of leg details.
-Bonus if we can clearly see at least some of each leg.
-Limited, or ideally no tack at all.
-PLEASE DO NOT POST LUSITANOS!
-In addition to the nice square on body shots if you have an image of a body part (like a head, mane, tail etc.) that you think is particularly nice feel free to share it, including the reason you are sharing, but we need square full body shots more than anything. The body part in question should be clearly labeled and must STILL be square to the camera. We can't use the images otherwise.
We need adult horses AND foal images.
Please don't share images of "pretty horses" that do not fit what is outlined above. It bogs things down and makes it harder on us.Need to contact me? Read this first.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

Found four that might work :) they sure are a pretty breed, I recommend the first one since it is more clear and shows all of the horse.

If possible please post actual photos not links to them as it makes it super difficult for others to see what has been posted already and for us to scan the page. Thanks so much! I'll edit the posts I can to show the imagesNeed to contact me? Read this first.

I give up. How is the third horse Amber posted (black thicc adult) not a fresian? I’m not saying anyone is wrong I’m saying I’m worse at horse id than I thought.Thanked by 1Cavalynn

It's not the greatest shot of the horse, however the rump, neck, and head would tell which breed it is. However those areas are angled wrong (rump) or covered with hair (head & neck). Could be either but the feathering leads me to think friesian

I agree it is a Friesian.Blue Grass id#: 182429

I say its a Friesian, or at least a cross...

Okay cool thanks all. We’ve got a handful of Aztecas (quarter x andalusian)and their dainty prancing selfs make me assume a lighter leg with a neck arch. And brains for miles.

I would love to own an Azteca. And yes that is a confirmed Friesian.Need to contact me? Read this first.
