Saddlebreds are not really like any other horse breed so sending this to those of you that know the breed better. How is this wip looking so far?

  • I’m not an expert but it looks pretty good, what I’m noticing most is the size difference on the hooves. I think that’s all :) Ammit it looks pretty amazing and I can’t wait for when they come into the game

  • It looks good to me, but I am not up to date on the standard of the breed. Maybe bring the left front leg down closer to the other so it looks level with the ground.

  • Something looks wonky to me from the legs down. I think the front legs look like they are not on an even plane with the hind legs. Like the front legs need to be a little longer so that the front hooves are a little lower and match up with the horizontal plane of the rear hooves.
Also, the two front hooves appear to be different sizes, but the two rear hooves look like the same size. So that seems to make the distance perspective look off in the front feet vs. the hind feet.
My last comment would be that the pastern angle in the right hind leg is off. The other feet all have pastern angles that are roughly 45 degrees, but that right rear pastern looks closer to 90 degrees and fatter in width compared to the left pastern. I think that right rear pastern just needs to be refined a bit and the position of the hoof changed to adjust the pastern angle.
