Why can't I find the "Train My Horses" button?
  • Shouldn't it be under "Showing" on the left-hand sidebar? All I have there are "My Show Entries", "Breeder Clubs" and "LB Awards". Please help!
  • change log:

The manual training page has also been removed. Now horses can be trained by clicking the carrot icon in the barn or on the horse page. Like the updated show entries, there is a popup but no separate page now. If you have an upgrade you will never see this carrot icon. It only appears for free members who can manually train there horses.

  • Oh great - thank you!
  • I can't find said carrot icon. Where is it? I have a basic upgrade. My horses take most of the day to get trained if I don't manually train them
  • “If you have an upgrade you will never see this carrot icon. It only appears for free members who can manually train there horses”

your horses will automatically train themselves if you have a basic upgrade.

  • How long will that take? Because it has already been most of the day.
  • a day? or two? mine are usually all trained by monday night. not sure why it matters.

  • I like to manually train mine even when I have basic or premium because I like to show them after they have trained but before their show level goes up. It's easier to show a whole barn at once than go through and see who has trained and who hasn't when the order in which they are training can't be predicted.
This is the first change that hasn't been great (for me at least).
  • OTTB1 I agree 100%. I've always trained and shown manually and I'm disappointed in this change.

  • I also agree I do not love this change. I also tend to manually train on Sunday or Monday morning the latest so I can start rotating barns through shows. I have a basic upgrade.
  • Is there any "external" in the barn indicator for a basic upgrade when training is done? Or is everyone just spot-checking to figure out who's trained before they show?
  • I have premium right now and I can't find any other indicator. I think all of my horses are done training by now, but I have auto show set to start tomorrow, so I'll just let it do its thing.

  • Trying to decide now if this changes my showing strategy for the 27th of this month to try to catch one last round of points for horses in the running for awards, and realizing I don't know enough about the mechanics of showing after vs before training for the week. On the other hand, we'll all be in the same boat, won't we?
