Had to make perfectly consistent?

Foal in question was maxed and then boosted, however she only hit 14.3 after her max. Vs 14.5 she should have hit being maxed.

    What am I missing?

    Full sibling for comparison

  • For future reference if you GMT perfect consistency in the GMT lab that will correct any consistency issues to perfect. I don't believe maxing or boosting affects consistency if I remember correctly.

Looking at the tattoos on the mare it looks like you might have figured that out already to GMT the consistency.

  • My guess is that she was *almost* inconsistent.
  • Both foals were under 14.5pt.
The colt was 14.4 (14.5 after max)
The filly was 14.2 (14.3 after max)

With maxing a foal it'll give the best possible outcome (in this case 14.5 pt) however it did not work like that for the filly.

Maxing is based on parents ability. There is not supposed to be a way for full siblings to have different max ability.

That's why I'm asking why did I need to spend a gmt for perfect consistency when it should have already been perfect (based off the colt who is a full sibling and I maxed and boosted before the filly)
  • Consistency is not affected by maxing. After maxing, they have the same ability in every other way, but are not the same consistency. That just means that the colt was already perfect consistency, and the max boosted his PT. The filly was not perfect consistency, and while the max also boosted her PT slightly, you have to make her perfect consistency to reach the even higher PT, because PT is affected by consistency. She was technically already at 14.50, but the consistency was dragging down her actual PT.

  • I think Dark Phoenix is correct here.

  • DarkPhoenix is correct

Maxing makes them the best at training and breeding possible. It does not guarantee you the best PT.
