    I just wondered why people would want to breed perfectly awful horses. I'd love to know

    I think backwards breeding is just another way to have fun and have friendly competition? I have kind of wondered about that too.

    There is a Backwards Breeders leaderboard, where you try to breed bad breeding ability horses and low PT (I have the lowest on this server at -4.8), instead of better horses. That HH gives you an easier starting point, since most foundations aren’t “bad.” When I first started, the HH hadn’t been made yet, and it was so hard to get bad foals and low PT.
