How do I use an embryo now?
-
I created embryos but the tab to use them is gone and I can't figure out how to implant them. It's changed since I did it a couple of weeks ago. Anyone know how it's done now?
-
On the page of one of the parents?
-
Wow you're right. I looked on an unbred mare and couldn't see how to implant nor find it in the breeding lab but apparently it's on the parent not the mare you are implanting into. This is all getting to be confusing and hard for me to keep track of with everything being moved out of a centralized location.

@pinkie3 There has been a change log post, multiple forum posts, and an Alert post about this.
It is still all very centralized.

As a general reminder, I am moving almost all the functionality of the Adv. Breeding Lab to the Breeding Tab on the horse page. If a feature has been removed it is a very safe bet that it is on the horse page now."

Embryo implantation has been moved to the horse page. Go to the breeding tab of any horse you own an embryo from, mare or stallion, owned by you or not, and click on the "Implant" button. You can the list on the "Adv. Breeding Lab" home page to see all your embryos.
Once you select an embryo that one will be listed for on your embryo drop-down. You will then be shown any paternal half-siblings of that embryo, then maternal half-siblings, and finally unrelated embryos. As you implant embryos the embryo count on the horse page you are on will update, as will the embryo selection drop-down so you can always rapidly tell how many related embryos you have left.
If you are ever confused about a change you can check one of the multiple ways we post information about it. :)
