I don’t know where this post will go, but I just had an amazing idea about similar players and that they should Pair up for a breeding project or like certain line? Oh! And you may also post here asking if anyone would be interested in tag teaming with you on a project, I know the community is very helpful and always open minded about certain stuff and this tends to be on the higher end of things. So, well, thank you for reading this very detail lacking post.

If anyone has a good definition of what it’s like to “pair up” or “create a line with another player,” please post for all the new players or even the old players that are still unsure how to put it! Or what it’s like! (Examples also could help)

I know a few stables that have similar breeding styles so I’m just going to throw out some names and who they should team up with - this is all my own opinion so don’t feel forced too, but maybe you should look into it?

Ideas?:

- RamshornSportHorses and TripleGFarm?

- LadyHawkeStables and LaurierArabians?

- LookingGood and Bluemesa?

- DarkPhoenix and Walywoohoo?

- SummerMonarch and Foxbrookfarm?

That’s all my mind could remember from the past week while I was cleaning my barns lol, I don’t know if there’s gonna be any interest on this post but I guess it could also be a spot to store my ideas?

Edit: Some more ideas?:

- Bluemesa and SumerMonarch?

- BlueRiverRanch and ChapelHillFarm?

- ChapelHillFarm and GryphonHollow?

- OTTB1 and Khisanth?

- Acorn and Caitrina?

- RKOHaven and RideOutStar?

Some of these are just random because I just want to see what their lines would produce :)

I’ve done this before on other sites and it’s always a fun way to tag team a project!

If anyone is working on breeding their first triple gold or triple star and likes my lines I would love to trade embryos or work on breeding higher quality stock together. I have a couple of decent studs but I usually outsource and focus on breeding better producing mares.

This sounds interesting! I have no idea what to do or what I would be breeding for, but this sounds really fun! I'd love to do this with someone :D

I like the idea of collaborating to expand what you can do. I wish I had more time right now, I'm barely staying afloat gamewise. Still have like 200 foals to sort through from last season before I start breeding this season.

Maybe later this year. Summer/fall is a really busy time of year for me in real life.

I would love to do the same, but like RAM, this time of year I'm real busy in RL, and with the minimum I try to get done here. (I'm behind breeding wise currently due to GE) 8-} Fall/Winter is a much better time for me to sit and buckle down on projects.

I do try to nab as many straws as I can for when I do get around to breeding, especially those that align with my ideals.

I have a feeling I know what you all are saying, Summer time gets very stressful and packed so the less time you can hop on and do everything you need to do before the end of the month. And I’m sure people who are still in school have the same issue since that takes up most of their year also.

I’m also clueless on what to do but I guess when people decide together what they want to work on for a project they’ll break down what role each player will have.

@TripleGFarm I do the same with collecting straws if I’m unable to get to the real breeding, but that’s also how I have begun to have hundreds of them lolz

It would be interesting to discuss what collaboration might look like.

Like maybe each party gets a set number of foundation mares and stallions with a similar goal in mind and you swap eggs and straws?

Well, we do do this already in a way with the futurist breeding “game.” I think a better idea would be to get more players involved in that, so that we can 1) collab on projects and trade breedings and straws and 2) help newer players who may be shy or confused to ease into participating in the futurities. It can be overwhelming to think about working with the “big barns” for some players. Just my thoughts! I love having the community working together and being accessible.
