    Got my boyfriend to agree to go look for a dog together (it's the "together" part that was hard; I want him to be the furdad, not the furuncle!)! We've been dogless since January & it was very hard on him even though it was my dog. She was a perfect dog & she took wonderful care of me for 14 years.

    I'd just started visiting the shelter on my own last week & made a chart with photos & my impressions for him, & yesterday he met me for a short while & he connected with the very LAST dog we met, & one that wasn't even on my chart!

    But I had already taken the limit of 3 dogs walking (why is there a limit?) plus they were about to close (website says 7pm, but apparently it is 6pm) so we are going back today. We both have to work today but it's the only day we both have time before work. If it looks good, I will have to see if I can arrange to pick her up tomorrow.

    Are you in Las Vegas? That sounds just like our frustrating shelter.

    Why make adoptions hard? It’s not like they are doing house checks. They are just discovering who will stand in lines and deal with nonsense, not who won’t dump the dog tomorrow.

    (I also want the dog photos or story or whatever.)
