Getting a BC I don't own.

    Hesitant to post the horse because of GE however I edited a horse to light bone and got the Arab bc. I do not own the Arab bc so I believe it's a bug.

    Let me know if more information is needed.

    I *believe* bc's are tied to the breed. For example, for my "Ladyhawke" breed all light boned are arabs and medium are PRE. So I believe if you were to buy a horse from me that was PRE and change it to light boned it would be an Arab (regardless if you own the bc or not)

    I know when the Friesian first came out I was able to sell a bunch to others and the bc stayed the same!

    If the horse is national though, this may indeed be a bug

    Please post a link to the horse. What ladyhawke posted is not correct. Editing a horse should not give you a bc you don't own.

    Ah I just thought that was how it worked, it's happened to me several times. I just went and bought a sample horse that was bred by Waly and is a "partyanimal" breed. I bought it as a riding pony and changed the weight to heavy and it become a "traditional cob" which I do not own, but I know Waly has set for the "partyanimal" breed.

    Very much a bug. I just need to have it force-set things to national when you edit weight. It causes so many problems.
