Introducing RKO Haven Estate's newest Sport horse the Katroughbred, I will be using the new Thoroughbred bc for my new breed. Katroughbred horses are based off of the Thoroughbred, Standardbred horses with a bit of American Quarter horse thrown in for good measure, which make these horses elegant, fast and have stamina for days. Katroughbred horses can be 17 to 14 hands high but this can very depending on the bloodline of individual horses. The taller horses are used for the flat tracks or steeplechase tracks, while the smaller ones are used for the trotting or pacing tracks. The Katroughbred is also great for other horse related disciplines such as Jumping, Crosscountry, Dressage and even western type disciplines.

Katroughbred Standard:
Temperament: The Katroughbred is calm but they can be a bit firey at the gate or at the start of competition, I like to think of this behavior as they are just showing off (yep lets go with that lol) but all kidding aside the Katroughbred enjoys their work and they are a very affectionate and sweet natured horse to people they know and trust.
Coat: Katroughbred are commonly solid colors with white markings but they can be pinto and rarely spotted.
Eyes: Any color including Heterochromia is excepted.
Size and Type: Standard size is 17 to 15 hands high, this body type is used in flat racing tracks. Pony size is 14 to 12h high, this body type is used in trotting or pacing tracks which includes use of a bike(sulky or cart). Sizes may vary depending on the individual horse or pony bloodline.
