Which is the Best?
-
For what? Breeding or showing? As far as showing goes, anything has the potential to be a good show horse, you have some lower PT foundations and some higher PT lined horses. The Performance Test (PT) roughly tells you how long the horse will train. So lower PT can often be better short term income horses, and higher PT longer term income, but often higher returns.
If you are still making pointed foundations, they are usually your best option for short term showing income.
As far as breeding goes, it's totally up to you what you want to breed, again you have a mixture of foundations and lined. Lined horses are usually papered higher, so produce higher PT foals. But decide what you what to breed for, maybe breed for high PT in a particular era? Breed for a certain colour, or type? If you want to get onto one of the LBs, have a look at what horses are on them already and see if there is something you could realistically aim for. The decision is yours!
