Breeding cap/SBA question
-
I have a foal who passed SBA against parents who are cap quality (grandparents are boosted ***papered, and parent passed SBA). If the foal passed SBA, does that mean he is also at cap?
Foal in question:
Future Summer Acute -
Nope. The only way to prove cap quality is to be an sba passed foal from a ***. There is a chance (I would guess a small one) that this foal is not cap quality.Need to contact me? Read this first.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

Thanks!

Have you comparison tested him? I know it doesn't confirm cap quality, but if he were mine it would be nice to confirm that he is in the ballpark.Ramshorn Ranch

I technically didn't. I feel like I comp tested to parents, through SBA lol. And I comp tested before, had AGA results with a cap colt, and then an SBA fail. So I know it's not a guarantee :))
