I haven't had any winners (except the first year I started in 2020 on this server)
This season I actually won in points! While it's not breeder board placement it's still something I'm proud of and 7th in futurity era5
So it's been a dry spell.... I kept thinking what am I doing wrong? What's wrong with my horses?
Why is no one showing interest in my stock?
Well truth was I had no clue what I was doing breeding wise, especially for advertising for public use.
Over the years I've learned as I went failed and fixed it. Finally I halfway gave up, I was content to just enjoy my horses flaws and all...
Then I got to "stalking " the leaders, viewing their winners and placers,
Actually taking the time to look at the stud advertising and their breeding, Era, paper level ect.
This season I worked on culling my mare lag and stud lag, comparison testing, trying to even paper/Era breed to be able to advertise public and have interest, watching what Genes are popular vs not ect.
And I'm Starting to slowly put this thing together.
The biggest factor in all this........
THE COMMUNITY....
The advice,
The generosity,
The friendships (for real guys yall are amazing!)
The open dialog between Ammit and players about breeding and testing
I have been blessed and learned so much vs the years before vs now is drastically different.
I definitely wouldn't have made it this far if it wasn't for y'all putting up with my nonsense lol
