No, but this is the type of game you can leave alone for a while and still be able to pick back up right where you left off. The only thing that’ll happen is if you’re away for several months, your horses will still age up. But you’ll still get your daily and weekly payouts. Any mares you have in pastures will still get bred automatically on the 14th of each month, provided there is a stallion in there as well; the resulting foals will just get sold back to the game if you don’t remove them before the 28th of each month.

It is very “break friendly” in that you are not penalized in any way for not logging in, and your stable can/will still earn money in the meantime. Hope this is helpful! :)

I do recommend to look at your stock & pull straws from any of your studs that you'd be devastated to lose access to, in case they age out while you're gone. I know I've seen a few people who'd gone on hiatus say how glad they were to have saved some from favorites!
