Vacation Mode?
-
Is there a vaction mode? I plan to leave for a bit as I've lost interest for the moment.

No, but this is the type of game you can leave alone for a while and still be able to pick back up right where you left off. The only thing that’ll happen is if you’re away for several months, your horses will still age up. But you’ll still get your daily and weekly payouts. Any mares you have in pastures will still get bred automatically on the 14th of each month, provided there is a stallion in there as well; the resulting foals will just get sold back to the game if you don’t remove them before the 28th of each month.
It is very “break friendly” in that you are not penalized in any way for not logging in, and your stable can/will still earn money in the meantime. Hope this is helpful! :)Thanked by 1Ammit -
I took a brake for 3 months, granted all my older horses had aged out or on the way out but I had some surprise foals in pasture and a good chunk of hbs from daily and weekly income, on my forest I was off for 6? 8? Months one time and granted I started that whole account over when I returned because everything was 17+years because they were older when I bought them for show.... but because you aren't spending any hbs really you win win because it just sits and builds I came back to like 860+k was niceRideOutPro on forest/ RideOutStar mesa

I do recommend to look at your stock & pull straws from any of your studs that you'd be devastated to lose access to, in case they age out while you're gone. I know I've seen a few people who'd gone on hiatus say how glad they were to have saved some from favorites!Vella/spotpixe/darkpixe (all of 'em everywhere!)

I think your main disadvantages is your show horses will not train or show while you are gone unless you have an upgrade with auto train and auto show features. So you’ll miss out on that opportunity to earn points and grow your daily income.
The only other thing is the loss of breeding seasons out of your breeding stock.
Of course all of this is replaceable when you’re ready to come back. :)
