    Foal in question was somehow immediately transferred to DarkPhoenix after I bred it using an embryo from SummerMonarch. Is it possible we somehow implanted embryos at the same time, resulting in creating a chimera with the two foals that would’ve had the same ID number? The main clues being the second strand of DNA has het snow and hom belton, while neither of the foal’s parents carry a copy of either.

    Can you please link the parents of the embryo you bred?

    The foal you linked was not transferred and is not the embryo you implanted.

    ETA: The breed tattoo also suggests that the two foals ended up with the same ID number.

    The foal is definitely not showing up under the dam’s offspring.

    I’d like to add; I’m definitely not upset, I’m more intrigued as I’ve not had this happen before XD

    ooo, I didn't notice this. I was implanting a bunch of embryos earlier. Also the horse is in both Era 4 and Era 0 breeder clubs?

    The era clubs will self-correct.

    I am not going to do anything about this because it has never happened before in the millions of foals we have produced so chances are very strong we will never see it again, particularly after we iron out some of the server slowness next month. We will chalk it out to an accident at the lab that did the AI work. Clearly they screwed something up. :))

    Thank you, the vet fees are no problem for me!

    The foal is definitely a really cool-looking accident; gonna venture to say even more interesting than getting a pair of twins lol!

    I noticed she was not showing her chimerism. I dealt with a horse a bit ago who had two sets of DNA but was not flagged as a chimera in the database. I had no idea what happened at the time to that horse. Sure enough, when I checked this filly she was also not flagged as a chimera. I fixed that. I bet that is what happened with the other horse as well. That horse was 15 years old though so clearly this isn't happening often.

    It got a little wild in my gene lab last night, I see. :)

    That’s a mesh between my era 4 4th gen line and BM’s era 0 Dorian line? Agree it’s a fluke but it’s really neat.

    But will it correct to era 0 or 4? It’ll follow the top strand, yeah?

    Yup! With one of the Dams’ lines going back to PestilentTempest and LadyHawke, I do believe this filly will be one of the great ones!

    Hm, I just noticed that both DNA strands show 100% inheritance. Will that be an issue if I breed her in the future? Or should I even breed her?
