It's slow going. The best bet is keep your high pointed horses for yourself. Make all horses 4yr old mares, one stud. Breed them all come pasture time, then throw everyone but the highest pointed ones in auction. Do it again when auction is over.

Keep up with the achievements and buy the $2 starter pack if you can. The achievements tend to get you some monetary prizes even though the only thing listed is the stall xp until later.

All the foals and the low pointers. If you use your main pasture to breed, just throw a regular create stud in there with the mares. When you auction the creates/foals whether spayed or not the auction will give you 2500 each. It's the price back for the mares and the stud, plus an extra 2000 for each foal. It's not an indefinite way to make money because it is time consuming, but it's a way to make a quick bit of HBs.
